ToxCalc News and Recent Updates

Listed below are some of the significant changes and enhancements incorporated into the most recent versions of ToxCalc. It is highly recommended that you obtain and use the current version. Check back regularly for further details.

Version 5.0.32

  • Fixed a bug that in rare events when the chi-square heterogenity is very small and the probability evaluates to 1.0, ToxCalc displayed a message on the report that there was significant heterogeneity when in fact there was none. This bug occurred because Excel treats a Chi-square probability of 1.0 as textual instead of numeric.

Version 5.0.31

  • Minor changes to the menus.

Version 5.0.30

  • ToxCalc 5.0 was revised to be compatible with East Asian operating systems. Required changes resulted in incompatibility with pre-Excel 2000 versions (version 9.0) when used with an East Asian operating system. Contact vendor if an earlier version is needed.
  • Code was changed to minimize instances where variables are flushed when program code is halted.
